Key points about Alabama Lemon Law

Vehicles Covered: The Alabama Lemon Law covers all those vehicle that are intended primarily for use and operation on the public highways which is self-propelled. The law, however, does not cover motor homes or any vehicle with a GVW of 10,000 pounds or more.

Repair Intervals: To qualify as a lemon, the car must have undergone 3 repair attempts or should have been out of service for 30 calendar days.

Coverage Period: A car cannot qualify as a lemon if it more than a year old or it has covered more than 12,000 miles, which ever is earlier.
