Vehicles Covered: Florida Lemon Law covers new vehicles purchased or leased primarily for personal, family, or household purposes. Those not covered under the law include those vehicles that run only on tracks, off-road vehicles, trucks over ten thousand pounds gross weight, the living facilities of recreational vehicles, motorcycles and mopeds.

Repair Intervals: A car will qualify as a lemon only if it has undergone a minimum of 3 repair attempts or has been out of service for 30 calendar days.

Coverage Period: A vehicle can qualify as a lemon only if it is less than 18 months old and has covered less that 24,000 miles.
