Key points about Indiana Lemon Law

Vehicles Covered: Indiana Lemon Law covers any self-propelled vehicle that has a declared gross vehicle weight of less than 10,000 pounds and is intended primarily for use and operation on public highways. The law does not include conversion vans, motor homes, farm machinery, motorcycles, mopeds, snowmobiles, or vehicles designed primarily for off road use.

Repair Intervals: Vehicles that have undergone 4 repair attempts or have been out of service for 30 business days can qualify as a lemon under the Indiana Lemon Law.

Coverage Period: A vehicle can qualify as a lemon only if it is less than 18 months old and has covered less that 18,000 miles.
