Key points about Kansas Lemon Law

Vehicles Covered: A new motor vehicle which is sold or leased, and which is registered for a gross weight of 12,000 pounds or less is covered under the Kansas Lemon Law. Repair Intervals: If 4 repair attempts for the same defect, or 10 repair attempts for separate problems have been made or the vehicle has been out of service for 30 calendar days, then it can qualify as a lemon under the Kansas Lemon Law.

Coverage Period: A vehicle which is less than 1 year old or is inside the warranty period, is eligible to be called a lemon under Kansas Lemon Law
