Vehicles Covered: Maryland Lemon Law covers all passenger cars or trucks with a rated capacity of 1 ton or less.

Repair Intervals: To qualify as a Lemon under Maryland Lemon Law, the vehicle must have undergone 1 repair attempt in the braking or steering system or 4 repair attempts or has been out of service for 30 calendar days for other problems.

Coverage Period:To qualify as a lemon, the vehicle has to be less than 15 months old or should have covered less that 15,000 miles. If it is a leased vehicle, then it needs to be less than 12 months old or it should have covered less than 12,000 miles.
