Vehicles Covered: Any vehicle, including the nonresidential portion of a motor home, propelled by its own power, designed primarily to transport persons or property upon the public highways is covered under Montana Lemon Law.The law, however, does not cover trucks with 10,000 pounds or more GVW or motorcycles.
Repair Intervals: Under Montana Lemon Law, a vehicle can qualify as a lemon if it has undergone 4 repair attempt or has been out of service for 30 business days.
Coverage Period: A vehicle can qualify as a lemon only if is less than 2 years old or has covered less than 18,000 miles.
